Large Food Producer.
Full business intelligence platform delivery
Decision Analytics delivered a full-scale business intelligence solution to an Irish food producer.
The background: A large multi-site Irish food producer was dealing with several data sources to run their operation. This was leading to missed revenue opportunities due to lack of access to their data.
The Challenge: One centralised business intelligence solution would remove manual reporting and provide the leadership team with timely insights.
Our approach: Decision Analytics centralised their data and provided live insights to their underlying data while also identifying and visualising previously hidden revenue opportunities.
This project delivered on our clients strategic objectives and we are in the process of adding further modules to their business intelligence platform.
Large pharmaceutical client
Sales team performance dashboard suite
The Challenge: A valued pharmaceutical distribution client was growing year over year and required a management cockpit alongside detailed operational views of their sales metrics.
Our approach: We met with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and how their departments worked. We linked in with several suppliers who managed the financial accounts and operational software to ensure the data was available for reporting. We developed technology iteratively and ensured that teams were comfortable engaging with the tools through several workshops, training sessions and reference training videos.
The output: Decision Analytics delivered a suite of individualised visualisation tools to highlight sales, production and inventory activity.
We are now building AI prediction tools to proactively support the teams in daily decision making.

Meter reading analysis and water testing dashboards
Decision Analytics delivered a business intelligence solution to an Irish utilities group scheme.
Stranooden Group Water scheme oversees over 2500 water infrastructure assets in county Monaghan. They maintain and service water meters, testing sites, hydrants, valves and other assets.
The Challenge: The group was challenged with calculating water usage for each meter on a regular basis while also identifying if a burst pipe was causing leakage in the system. The group also required a way to visualise the meter routes for teams out in the field as their software provider left the market.
The Solution: Decision Analytics provided a robust reporting system that generated live calculations and flags for high water usage, removing the need for manual review of usage. We visualised an interactive map to show the location of each asset and view data relating to that location.
Data Sources: Data sources included WaterMeter database SQL and Microsoft excel tables including the location of assets, and water sample test results.

Online retailer
Web analytics platform
Our client, an online retailer specializing in the tourism sector, faced challenges in managing and analyzing their scattered data across various online channels and marketing campaigns. Seeking to streamline their operations and improve decision-making, they enlisted our help.
The Challenge: Challenges included data fragmentation with data scattered across multiple platforms, making analysis difficult. There was no centralized reporting and an absence of a unified reporting system hindered insights. There was limited visibility as inadequate tools led to a lack of visibility into customer behaviour and campaign performance.
The Solution: We worked closed with the client to design an ideal future state reporting solution. We consolidated many data sources into a single warehouse. We utilised Google Looker and GA4 analytics where we tailored solutions to fit the client's needs. Lastly we created intuitive dashboards for real-time insights.
The Output: The client now had a centralized data hub with simplified access to data. Enhanced reporting provided actionable insights for informed decisions. We built a framework for future expansion.

Plug in to a shared community of EV charge points! Locate charging points on the E-Shared map, or create a listing and start earning passive income from your own charging point today.
We have built a fully operational prototype to test the market with this business concept and would love feedback from EV drivers - drop us a mail to get in touch.
The challenge:
While the transition to Electric Vehicles has accelerated, the number of charging stations has not kept up with demand. There are now 80,000 EVs on Irish roads with roughly 2,000 public chargers falling short of the estimated 4,700 needed. With a target of a million EVs on the road in the next decade, Ireland faces a EV charging point supply challenge. According to the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), to meet demand over the coming eight years, we need to install 100,000 fast-charging points.
The solution:
We estimate that 10,000 existing home charge points can be used to reduce that shortfall. To address this opportunity, we have set up a web platform called E-shared, allowing EV owners to list their EV charge point as well as rent from others.
Our approach:
As with all new business ideas, the first step was to research the market and understand the dynamics. We used data and analytics to model the projected trajectory of EV ownership and charge point demand. We researched global competitor strategy and narrowed in on a minimal viable product to satisfy customer expectations. We built a minimal viable product using Sharetribe and within a week from ideation to MVP we launched the concept.
